The Office (1995–2003)

All language is born from practice.

The early years of Di Fêrra's career were dedicated to building his craft: drawing, observation, mastering color, composition, and pictorial matter. Before recognizing his own visual identity, there was a long period of learning, experimentation, and discipline.

The works from this period reveal an artist interested in understanding the possibilities of painting and establishing a solid foundation for research that, years later, would acquire increasingly personal characteristics.

More than a chronological beginning, this stage represents the foundation upon which all subsequent production would be built.
