Return to Painting (2026)

In February 2026, during this research process, Di Fêrra suffered another acute myocardial infarction, undergoing emergency angioplasty with the implantation of six new stents.

After a brief recovery period, he resumed work in the studio.

Far from representing an interruption of the research, this return marks a moment of integration. The experiences developed in the digital environment begin to directly dialogue with painting, producing works in which geometric structures, chromatic fields, gesture, matter, and memory coexist more freely.

The production carried out from this moment on does not constitute a restart, but a continuation transformed by the lived experience itself.
